Note: This book recounts what happened so far in the story as well as gives a brief description of the main characters.

There's an army on the move and they come across Sesshomaru, so they decide to kill him and steal his armor. Sesshomaru decides to use his new "hand". Cool two page spread of Sesshomaru ripping their heads off. Jaken kisses his butt as usual & gets stepped on by Sesshomaru for being an idiot. Now Jaken has to go get another arm or else. (Sesshomaru why couldn't you just skip to the "or else"?) Anyways they meet up with a talking Baboon who just happens to have an extra arm that's looking for a body & well since Sesshomaru had need od an arm & well since he hates Inuyasha as much as Baboon-boy does, he can have the arm. Sesshomaru points out that he doesn't do other people's dirty work for them, but since he's intrigued he'll do it this time. So not only does Sesshomaru get a new arm, he gets a special bee hive & the baboon's name. (In case you're wondering it's Naraku- duh!) Meanwhile Kagome is thrilled to be sleeping indoors for a change & has a minor fight with Inuyasha about it. They along with Shippo are having a nice hot meal too. Miroku is busy exorcising the ill-omened cloud that hung over the place. When he returns this sparks a minor fight with Inuyasha. Before the fight gets any bigger Kagome just happens to sense of all things a jewel shard!(How convenient!) Anyways outside there's a huge demon who's destroying the local harbor village on his way over to where Inuyasha & company are. And guess what? Sesshomaru is riding on it's shoulder! (Like you didn't know that!^^)

Big two page pic of the gang & Sesshomaru meeting. This is the start of an amazing battle over the Tetsusaiga. During which, Kagome fills in Miroku on just who Sesshomaru is. Some more cool battle scenes between the brothers until Sesshomaru gains possession of the Tetsusaiga. He then decides to "teach" Inuyasha how to use it. After slaying 100 demons & a mountain, Sesshomaru then tells Inuyasha it's his turn.

Another two page spread. This time Sesshomaru is telling Inuyasha he's about to become rust on his blade. (I love that expression!) So Kagome steps in! (How mortifying for Inuyasha!) Sesshomaru seems mildy impressed & amused by her & is beautifully sarcastic with her. Then Inuyasha tells her to stay out it. Before he can do anything Miroku steps in & he & Inuyasha have a bit of a fight. Jaken wakes up at this as he recalls what Naraku tells them about the monk. (& no he didn't tell them to watch their butts as he's a notorious butt rubber!^^) So Jaken & the unnamed giant demon decide to take care of the monk & Sesshomaru is only too happy to watch. (Luv the look on Sess's face when he's exposed to Miroku's wind tunnel. He's like is that guy messing my hair?) Anyways Miroku is trying to suck up the giant demon. Kagome thinks this is cool & Inu's not amused, especially whine she tries to tell him he's awesome too. After the nonsense goes on a bit Sesshomaru remembers Naraku's warning & decides to throw the wasps nest at Miroku. He's like wasps? (I'm like duh!) Anyways he sucks up enough of them to get really ill. So now it's just Inu & Sess who are going to battle after Inu kills some of the wasps. Sess thanks them for amusing him before they all die. (His Haha-ue did a good job teaching him manners, neh?^^) Anyways Inu throws some Claws of Blood(it's what Viz called it & I don't remember what it's called on the show) at him so he can get the others, namely Miroku out of the way. (By the way where was Shippo during all this? I don't recall seeing him until now.) So now that Shippo is here, he's told by Inu to watch over Miroku. Now Inu's ready to battle Sess & battle they do. Meanwhile Miroku gets a hold of Jaken! (YAY! Squish the little creep!!!) Meanwhile Sess & Inu are still determined to kill each other, so Kagome steps in & shots an arrow at them. It changes the Tetsusaiga back into a rusty old bade. She's like the next arrow will get you Sesshomaru & Inu get your butt away from him! Both Brothers are impressed with her archery skills.

Kagome then goes on to threaten Sesshomaru with shooting off his arm. Both guys still are amazed at her. Then she spots a jewel shard in Sesshomaru's arm. She tries to shoot it off & Sess tries to kill her. Inuyasha suddenly comes alive & saves her in the nick of time! All he does besides that is scratch Sess's cheek & state the fact that Inu is quicker when Kagome's in danger. Now Sess's secret is out: how he can touch Tetsusaiga, he has a human arm! They fight more & now Inuyasha has a bruised face. Meanwhile the scene shifts back to Miroku & Jaken. After a good punch to the face Jaken tells Miroku that the wasps were courtesy of ...you guessed it: Baboon-boy. Miroku is like upset to hear that. Anyways Kagome comes over to see what she can do to help. Miroku tells her that taking the medicine mouth to mouth will save him. (Gotta love the way he tries to get whatever he can out of a girl!) So she tells Shippo to do it for her! (Smart girl!) Anyways (I spoke too soon) she gets caught up in the battle & is knocked out when Inu falls on her. He's ticked off now especially when Sess tells him the two of them will be together forever in hell!

The battle goes on again. Inu is totally ticked off! Sess asks Miroku if the venom has killed him yet & he wants to suck Sess in. Inuyasha tells him not to do it. Miroku wants to & Inu shows him that the wasps are still around. He gets Miroku & Shippo to look after Kagome cuz he's off to kill his brother! They fight more & it appears Inu is getting the worst of it too! Then Kagome wakes up. & Inu rips off Sess's human arm! Sess is like I don't care as I didn't feel any pain. Inu has the Tetsusaiga back but he's like worn out & just sits there with it. Sess stands there looking at him. Jaken wants Sess to finish him off but Sess is like you can't get near him. Jaken tries is nearly killed. (too bad!) Then Sess decides it's time to leave! & off he goes! Kagome is crying again & Inuyasha faints in a pool of his blood.

Sess & Jaken are off going who knows where followed by Naraku's wasps. That's cuz they want the arm, or what's left of it. So he rips off the remains of the arm & the wasps take it away. Scenes of a mountain & forest. Then we see Naraku getting the arm back, Nest thing we see is sess standing behind ol' Baboon-boy. They talk & Sess gets annoyed & tries to kill him. Too bad it's another Naraku doll thingy. (which Sesshomaru knew, why he killed him is beyond me, except maybe it felt good.) Anyways the gang is off on the back of Tanuki-san(Miroku's friend). They went back to the village where Kaede lives. Then Inuyasha wants to see Kagome ...alone! They talk while being spied on, by Miroku & Shippo. Before Kagome knows what hit her, Inuyasha hugs her. He gets a bit romantic in that he tells her he was afraid for her & all & then he steals her jewel shards & throws her back in the well where she goes back to her own time. She's annoyed & then upset she can't see him any more.

Scenes of outside the Bone Eater's well from Kagome's time. She's puzzl;ed she can't go back to see Inuyasha. Meanwhile Inuyasha is doing his best to plug up the well so she can't come back & Shippo's mad at him about it. So he sulks & Inuyasha's like we're leaving to find Naraku & Shippo's like I hate you! Miroku talks to Inu to find out what's wrong. Inuyasha doesn't want to put Kagome in danger anymore. (How sweet!) Anyways Miroku points out that Inuyasha has met Naraku before. Inu's like what? Miroku's like remember what happened with you & Kikyo? & how maybe it wasn't Inuyasha that Naraku hated but Kikyo? Meanwhile back in modern Japan, Kagome goes on with her life. She wonders what Inu is up too & Why he hugged her. She gets so mad at him she calls out in class & is sent out of the room. Meanwhile back in Feudal Japan, Kaede is tending Inu's wounds & telling him he needs rest. She speculates on why Naraku did what he did to Kikyo & Inuyasha. Maybe to taint the jewel, since taking it would have been easy for him. We also learn some of Onigumo's story. So they go to the cave where it all started with onigumo.

They go in & explore the cave. Meaanwhile Inuyasha is lost in his thoughts about Naraku & Onigumo. They discover that there's no grass growing where Onigumo used to lay. Miroku says it has something to do with demons emitting a great blast of evil power. Then it looks like Kikyo is there. But it turns out to be only a lizard with a spell on it. That ticks off Inuyasha & he runs out of the cave. Meanwhile Shippo is still trying to remove the tree Inuyasha shoved oin the well & is thinking about Kagome. Then a huge wolf type demon comes up behind him and... Inuyasha, Kaede & Miroku are wandering back to where Shippo was (I think) & that's when Inu realizes he's in trouble! Inu jumps in to save him & that's when Shippo realizes Inu's still bleeding. Inu's like oh crap I'm still bleeding! Anyways now he has to battle that huge wolf Youkai. Miroku steps in to help too & Somehow sucks up stuff without sucking up the youkai & asks him who sent him. The youkai sends out moer of it's wolves & finally they are all destroyed by Inu. The Wolf Youkai escapes & they wonder if he was one of Naraku's minions. Miroku feels a great danger & Inu thinks it's Naraku watchjing them.

Kagome's in gym class & she's thinking about Inu. Then her friends tell her Hojo wants to talk to her. So he asks her out again on a date. Kagome thinks about Inu & her friends can tell she's thinking about another guy. So after some bit of prodding Kagome is ywes she'll go on a date with Hojo! She's still hung up on Inu though. Menawhile Inu is tied up & locked in a hut so he can recover. All he has is Shippo for company. Shippo turns into Kagome & gets Inu to calm down long enough for him to realize he's being tricked! Miroku & Kaede come to see what all the fuss is. Kaede tends Inu's wounds while everyone talks about what's going on. Poor Inu is forced to rest so he can heal properly. He thinks about Kagome aftewr Shippo asks about her. Meanwhile Naraku is up to no good along with that wolf Youkai. Naraku punishes him for his failure by sticking a seedling in his head. The seedling has a jewel shard in it. He has to defeat Inu inoder for Naraku to remove it & if he does it himself, he'll die. Meanwhile Inu's in a bad way thanks to Sesshomaru's vemon.

Outside the hut Kaede & Miroku are sitting & praying to keep up a shield around the area so the youkai won't find Inu. The Youkai is back & it's head is covered with ivy. He looking for Inu & Shippo tells Inu that. Things look good until Naraku(I think) throws a spear at Kaede & Miroku breaks his concentration to save her. The Youkai breaks the hut & Inu battles him. Things don't look good as Inu gets hurt again & loses the jewel shards. Thanks to a quick thinking Shippo they are safe for the moment (or are they?) at least as long as he can run from the wolves. Then just as Miroku wants to use his hand, Naraku's bees show up. Things don't good for them. Meanwhile it's back to Kagomeas she gets ready to leave on her date. (why doesn't Hojo come & get her?) She goes to the well & she goes in it & talks to Inu as if he were there & tells him she has a date. Meanwhile it looks like the ned of Shippo! (if only it were the end of Jaken!)
