Manga Book Four

Scroll One: The Thunder Brothers

The story picks up from the previous manga & Kagome rescues Shippo from Manten. While doing that she sees that he has jewel shards in his forehead. She aims her arrow at them & winds up cutting off his last remaining hairs! He's mad & they're in trouble! While trying to escape Kagome is knocked out & Manten takes her. Shippo feels badly & goes off to get Inuyasha. He tells Inuyasha what happened. Inuyasha gets the shards back from Shippo & they fight a bit before going off to save Kagome. Meanwhile Kagome wakes up to find herself in the Thunder Brothers's hangout. Things don't look good for her as Manten wants to boil her down to make a hair tonic, & she watches the brothers fight when Manten tells Hiten he lost the shards.

Scroll Two: The Crush

Kagome tries to get away here, but can't so she tells the brothers that she's Inuyasha's woman & that he'll trade the shards for her cuz he loves her. Meanwhile Shippo & Inuyasha are out to find Kagome & rescue her. Poor Shippo is really worried, but Inuyasha acts like it's no big deal about Kagome Finally they meet up with Hiten. Things get funny when the brothers tell Inuyasha to hand over the shards in exchange for his "love"! Then the battle between Inuyasha & Hiten begins!

Scroll Three: Kagome's Last Hope

Inuyasha & Hiten continue their battle. Meanwhile Kagome decides to save herself. She & Shippo then wind up battling Manten while Inuyasha's & Hiten's battle rages on! Poor Inuyasha is distracted by Kagome not being safe so he gets injured.

Scroll Four: The Power to Devour

More of everyone's battles. Then Inuyasha ends Kagome's battle by throwing the Testusaiga at Manten & killing him. Now he can concentrate on his battle with Hiten. Poor Shippo is overcome by what happened & Kagome then has to get Tetsusaiga to Inuyasha. Shippo calling out to his father reminds her to grab his pelt. This winds up nearly getting themselves killed by Hiten who's lost interest in Inuyasha for the moment. Hiten mourns his brother & is now out for blood! Then he eats his brother's heart, which Myoga points out will increase his demonic powers. This causes a fight between Inuyasha & Myoga before Inuyasha's final battle with Hiten!

Scroll Five: With Only A Scabbard...

Inuyasha has now only Tetsusaiga's scabbard to aid him in the battle. He still gets injured(poor thing is always getting hurt!). Meanwhile Kagome & Shippo watch the battle. Kagome decides to shot an arrow at Hiten in an attempt to aid Inuyasha. She doesn't have a bow, but she does have a Shippo! ^^ She uses the Shippo-bow & shoots an arrow at Hiten's Wheel(he has two, one on each foot that help him fly). This happens just as Inuyasha is about to be killed. When Hiten falls Inuyasha punches him in the face which was unexpected! He now has to face a supper ticked off Hiten in battle. Tetsusaiga's scabbard cracks!

Scroll Six: The Cry

Now that the scabbard is broken all looks like it's lost! Hiten throws some fire at Kagome & Shippo & Inuyasha thinks they're dead! Good move as it ticks him off big time! Somehow the scabbard called the Tetsusaiga & Inuyasha defeats Hiten! (YAY!) Poor Inuyasha thinks Kagome & Shippo are dead & he's very upset. Then he sees what he thinks is a vision of them & it's really them! (YAY!) It seems Shippo's dad did one last thing & protected them from harm. Once they are safe he leaves as his soul can rest in peace. Inuyasha gets mad to be caught holding Kagome's hand & showing concern for her & now Shippo is part of the group.

Scroll Seven: A Little Imp

Here's where we meet Hojo again. He's worried about Kagome who he likes. He's found talking to her Grandpa by Kagome. Then it looks like the next day & she's walking home from school with her friends. They talk about Hojo & She thinks about Inuyasha! ^^ Then they see something weird happening at a playground. Only Kagome can see the young girl who scared the kids there. She takes off after her & tells her to apologize. The girl gets made & engulfs Kagome in fire. Then it turns out no one can see her but Kagome! Poor Kagome worries about the girl. Meanwhile the rest of the gang is sitting around while some bees fix Tetsusaiga's scabbard. They see the Tatari-mokke go by. Then it's back to Kagome. She takes Sota to the hospital to visit his friend who was hurt in a fire. He tells Kagome about all the weird & scary stuff that's been happening since this kid got hurt. It turns out that only Sota is brave enough to visit according to the Mom. While there more freaky stuff happens! & Kagome sees the girl again! Then she decides to catch her.

Scroll Eight: Until My Eyes Open

That night Kagome & Sota talk about what happened. That's how Kagome finds out that Satoru had a big sister named Mayu who died in that fire. When they walk by the apartment where it happened they are scared out of their minds by a woman & a baby! Then a window nearly falls on them as well as a plant. Kagome sees the girl again! They talk about what happened to her. Mayu is very upset & won't listen to Kagome. She tries to hurt her. Then Kagome sees the Tatari-mokke & it's eyes are half open!(When they are totally open it will take a child's soul to hell!) She goes back to Inuyasha's time & tells what happened. Kagome wants to help Mayu, but Inuyasha tries to talk her out of it. She goes back to help. Scenes of the hospital room, Mayu's Mom & that's when Mayu plans to kill them!

Scroll Nine: To Hell

Kagome goes back to the hospital & talks with the Mom. Mom tells her what happened the day Mayu died. Then Mayu who was listening still feels her Mom hated her & causes trouble at the hospital. She's very angry & Kagome tries to explain to her what happwened & that her Mom loves her! But Mayu won't listen & she somehow makes Satoru fall out the window! Kagome panics cuz she can't save him & is surprised & relieved to see Inuyasha has saved him! They then argue about getting involved with Mayu when the Tatari-mokke shows up & starts taking Mayu away! Reluctantly Inuyasha take Kagome to help Mayu!

Scroll Ten: To Rest

They wind up back at Mayu's apartment. Kagome is caught up in the Tatari-mokke's chains & Inuyasha finds himself alone! Meanwhile back at the hospital, Satoru wakes up to tell his Mom to save Mayu from the fire as she's hiding in the closet! Meanwhile Mayu & Kagome relive the moment of Mayu's death! She tries to help Mayu But Mmayu is pulled down into hell! Kagome grabs her arm in the nick of time & saves her! She gets Mayu to make up with her Mom. Mayu does this. Inuyasha is amazed that Kagome was able to do this, but he yells at her anyways! Then later on Sato Tells Kagome thanks for helping. Then we see Mayu coming to say good bye to Kagome as she's off to heaven instead!
