Kagura & Inu battle. Meanwhile Kanna tries to suck up Kag's soul in her mirror. They try to battle & are interrupted by SHippo. Kanna uses that as a way to escape. Miroku then shows up & so does Koharu. She's acting a bit strange. She pretends to kill herself & Miroku stops her which nearly gets him killed. Meanwhile Inu is having a tough time battling Kagura.

Inu's & Kagura's battle still goes on. Meanwhile Miroku & Shippo are left trying to help the girls & they wonder about Kanna the mirror demon. Things get bad for Inu when Kanna uses her mirror to deflect Inu's wind scar back at him. Ol Baboon Boy then shows up in time to gloat over what happened. Then Kagome wakes up enough to ask Kirara to help her get to Inu.

Inu looks half dead & Naraku gloats about it. Then Miroku asks him who the 2 girls are that are with him. Miroku asks if they have a spider shaped scar on their backs as well. Naraku seems impressed. He tells Miroku they are Wind & Nothingness & they are a part of him. Miroku realizes that Kagome's soul's still in Kanna's mirror & he wonders what they can do about it. Naraku then tells Kagura to get Inu's head so he can show it to Kikyo. Theat's how they realize Inu's still alive because he barely responds. Then the villagers show up & Naraku tells Miroku he can fight them to his heart's content. As Kagura goes to get Inu's head Kag wake's up enough to shoot an arrow at her. Kagura yells at Kanna for not taking Kag's soul & can't figure out why, but Naraku notices that Kag's soul has overflowed the mirror. Kag is mad & out to get Naraku for hurting Inu. She sees a jewel shard in him & wonders why it's so bright. She fihgures out he has a ton of shards & he then asks her if she really wants to know who gave them to him. Kag thinks about it & Naraku tells her he got them from Kikyo. Inu perks up a bit at hearing that. Naraku tells him to curse the woman he loved he taunts Inu by telling him his present state is because of Kikyo. Kag is now really ticked off & shots an arrow at Naruku & company.

Kag's arrow hits Kanna's mirror. It's swallowed up by it & then something strange happens. The mirror stops obeying Kanna & then all the souls come out of it. The Miroku tries to suck up Narauk & Co. into his wind tunnel. At first they think he's got them but Naraku & Co. have escaped again! Poor Inu is upset because he's realized that Kagura & Kanna have defeated his Tetsusaiga because of the power of the shards. Meanwhile all the villagers wake up & wonder what happened. Koharu wakes up with an ofuda in her hands & she wonders if Miroku gave it to her & she hopes he's still safe. Maenwhile everyone is looking after Inuyasha. & they discuss what happened. Kag is annoyed that Kikyo would give Naraku the shards knowing that Inu could be killed. Scene shifts to Kikyo hanging with some village men & she senses something * goes off only to find it's ol' Baboon Boy.

Inu's lying around think about what Naraku said about Kikyo. Shippo notices he's awake & they talk. Inu asks where Kag is. Shippo tells him she went with Mir to get food & herbs. It seems Sango is inujured & needs to recover as well. Shippo looks after both of them. Inu senses Kikyo's souls skimmers & he goes off after them. Kikyo finds him passed out. He wakes up & they talk. Kikyo acts like she likes him & Inu gets mad. They talk & Kagura meanwhile is spying & hears everything. Kikyo sense her & shoots an arrow at her. She tells Kagura that the next arrow will hit her head. so Kagura leaves. Then Kikyo tells Inu his life is hers & she leaves him there.

Kag & Mir sense the soul skimmers & they find Inu sitting where Kikyo left him. Kag is mad because he talked to Kikyo. He still defends Kikyo when Mir suggest she's joined forces with Naraku. That really annoys Kag & she leaves. Meanwhile something's on the prowl at at a nearby village. It's Kagura & a new demon. Mir tends Inu's wounds while Kag looks after Sango. Inu smells corpes. They realize Kagura is up to something because of the corpse. Inu's like let's go. Meanwhile the new demon is eating people & terrorising the village. He comes upon 2 kids who's parent's he's eaten. Just as he's about to eat them too, Inu arrives & saves them. Inu's woried as this new demon seems to have dodged his blow.

The new demon taunts Inu by telling him he can read his thoughts. Miroku notices a spider shaped mark on this demon's back. The Demon tells him he's met his sisters Kanna & Kagura. His name is GoshinkiInu & Goshinki battle. It doesn't look good for Inu as Goshinki can tell what he's going to do as soon as he thinks it. Miroku can't even use his wind tunnel as the bess are there. Goshinki points out all their weeknesses & Shippo gets mad because he's ignored. Then Inu sees the kids he saved from before & he yells at them for not leaving. Then he sees them holding their parewnt's heads. Inu gets mad & gains some inner strength. They battle & Goshinki bites the Tetsusaiga & it breaks much to Inu's surprise.

Inu stands there shook as he looks at his broken sword. Goshinki takes advantage & beats him up. Kag runs to help Inu & Miroku runs to help her & it looks like they're both going to get it from Goshinki. Miroku winds up taking the blow & is hurt. It looks bad for Kag & while Goshinki is concentrating on her Inu springs into action. His face is in shadow & he's got more strength than before as he ri[ps off Goshinki's arm. Then we see Inu looks different. He looks demonic & even Goshinki can't figure out why he's different. They battle some more until Inu kills him. Poor Kag can't believe Inu actually enjoyed killing Goshinki.

Inu now feels weird & he doesn't understand what has happened to himself. Kag tries to go to him & he yells aty her to get away. Inu tells her he doesn't know what he might do to her. Sango & Miroku sit back & discuss what's happening. Kag reasures Inu there's no one left to fight. Inu seems a bit calmer. She goes to him & everyone's afraid & she tells him to sit! Inu goes splat & when he gets up he's okay & yelling at her like he always does when she does that. Kag just grabs him & cries. They talk about what happened. He remebers. The kids thank him for avenging theoir parent's deaths. Inu thinks about how wrong they were about that. He realizes he actually enjoyed dismembering Goshinki. Then all of a sudden Toto-sai's ox shows up. Myoga is riding on it. They all insult Myoga for running away & Myoga asks what ahppened to the sword. Myoga is worried cuz Inu's blood smells different. He tells them to gather the peices of the broken blade. Kag realizes it's so the blade can be fixed. Meanwhile Sesshy & company arrive to find Goshinki's body. Actually Rin finds it first cuz she was playing with Jaken & they were racing each other. She's amazed that Sesshy knew Goshinki was dead. A voice tells them Inu did it after Jaken wonders what ahppened. Sesshy seems to know Inu was hurt as well. Sesshy picks up Goshinki's head & he smells the scent of the Tetsusaiga on it. He realizes Goshinki bite the blade & he takes the head & is like let's go. Rin keeps shrieking Until Sesshy tells her to shut up. She does & jaken thinks how he can barely stand her & he wonders how Sesshy piuts up with her as she talks nostop. Rin then asks him why he sighs a lot. Sesshy menawhile has noticed Inu's blood is also different. then it's back to the gang & Inu's sitting on the ox's back. He's off to go see Toto-sai. Before they leave Myoga asks what happened & are they sure Inu transformed. They realize it's because the sword is broken. tells Kag the balde was forged to seal Inu's demon blood. If it's not sealed he will continue to fight until he dies. Myoga's worried because he doesn't think the reforged blade can still contain Inu's demon blood. Kag is worried too.

Inu makes it to Toto-sai's & he gives him the broken blade. Toto-sai is horrified. He tells Inu he needs 3 days to fix the sword. He does this with one of Inu's fangs. Inu gets mad when Toto-sai pulls the tooth. Meanwhile Rin is having a fit she can't go with Sesshy & Jaken. Then we see a hut in a swamp inside is another demon. It's Kaijinbo & Sesshy knows who he is & he also knows Kaijinbo was one of Toto-sai's students. He also knows Kaijinbo was expelled by Toto-sai for forging evil blades. Sesshy dumps Goshinki's head & tell Kaijnibo to make him a new sword. Kainbo tells him the fangs are dead & Sesshy just whips out the Tensaiga & fixes that lil problem. ^^ Kaijinbo agrees to make him a blade after Sesshy tells him this demon broke the Tetsusaiga. Meanwhile it's the night of new moon & inu is in human form. He's sitting around talking to Miroku. He's annoyed Sango now knows about his weakness & Kag tells him that's okay because they're all his friends. Still poor Inu is upset over what had happened. He worries he won't be able to protect Kag. She asks him if he still wants to be a true demon & he thinks about it. She then tells him she was scared when he was like that. He gets mad at her & she tells him she was scared because it looked like his heart had changed & he went away. He tries to reasure her it was nothing. Meanwhile Jaken goes back to Kaijinbo's hut to check on things & winds up getting sliced in two by Kaijinbo.
