Note: This book recounts what happened so far in the story as well as gives a brief description of the main characters.

Kagome runs in the cave looking for Kikyou. She finds Miroku. They watch Inu battling the demon. Kag spots Kikyou looking 7/8 dead while Inu is still battling. Miroku is still trying to warn Inu against battling. That's when Inu spots Kagome. He nearly gets killed by the demon. Miroku then explains what's going on to Kag. She goes down to save Kikyou. She does. Inu now battles like crazy & Kikyou blames Kag for it. She then amanges to stand up & shoots an arrow at the whole in the cave's ceiling. It breaks the spell. Everyone goes flying out that hole.

Scenes of Inu & Kag holding on to each other as they go flying. He sees kikyou in the mass of demons that are headed for Naraku. He's waiting for this moment. as his body disintergrates the demon heads for him. Inu watches as he realizes what naraku is up to. he's too latre as Naraku gets a new body. Inu tries to do something but it's too little too late. Then we're treated s to some Naraku eye candy! ^^ Anywyas naked Naraku goes & gets Kikyou. Too bad he's got that monkey suit on again. Anyways he takes off with Kikyou who looks 7/8 dead again, much to Inu's annoyance. Kag thinks about what Kikyou did. anywyas it ends with Kikyou only being 5/8 dead.

Kikyou's soul skimmers are bringing her souls. too bad Naraku won't let them in. They talk. She calls him Onigumo! They talk about that. He tells her he has plans for her. Meanwhile Kag & Inu try & sort things out. Anywyas Naraku's bees show up and Inu takes off after them. Evryone else takes off after him. They also come across Kikyou's soul skimmers. Inu comes across the remains of a village. It's as if he's reliving what happened 50 years ago. He even sees Kikyou & she shoots an arrow at him. It's like he's going to be pinned to the tree again!

More of that nightmare last meeting with Kikyou for Inu as he's pinned to a tree again. Then she tells him she feels bad about it & hugs him. She doesn't want him to die alone. Meanwhile Miroku has his worst nightmare come true when he's sucked up into his wind tunnel. Then Sango has to relive the nightmare of Kohaku killing all her friends & then her. Meanwhile ole Baboon boy is up a tree with Kikyou who looks 7/8 dead again. he talks to her. The only one unaffected is Kag who wanders around & sees Naraku & Kikyou. She tries to kill him. Naraku reasons if he can't destroy her soul, then he'll settle for destroying her body!

Kikyou up a tree, sleeping, while Kagome is down a fissure in the earth hanging on for dear life & she's calling for help. Naraku seesms to be lurking nearby. He can hear Kagome calling out for help & is pleased no one is able to help her. Just when things look bad for Kagome, Kikyou is there. She's the one who destroys the doll that controls Naraku's puppet. She tells her that she could have moved any time she wanted to but first she had to lnow what Naraku was planning. She also tells Kagome that Naraku finds her to be a huge nuisance. Kagome looks shocked. It shifts back to Inu's dream. He seesms to be realizing this is just a trap & he manages to get out of it! He Sess Miroku first & helps him. Miroku feels Sango's also in trouble & Inu wants to know what happened to Kagome. Meanwhile Kikyou's soul skimmers have got a hold of Kagome & they bring her out of the cliff. Kikyou then sees Kagome's shards & steals them! Then she calls off her skimmers & leaves Kagome to fall! Kagome's shocked Kikyou would kill her & Inu meanwhile is on his way to save her!

Kagome is still trying to talk some sense into Kikyou's head & needs her help to stop falling, but Kikyou won't listen. Just then Inu shows up & helps her. Kagome tries to tell him what happened & Kikyou interrupts & tells him she only took the shards. He gets mad but she tells him it's for Kagome's protection that she took them. She tells him Naraku was planning on using Kagome's body once he had the shards. Kikyou then leaves. The Inu asks Kagome what went on as it seems he smelled a lie somewhere. Kagome just repeats what Kikyou said. He's upset that Kikyou would hurt her & Kagome just can't bring herself to tell him he's right. She's like you still love Kikyou right? & He's like I'm here because I thought about YOU! She's shocked & he asks her to trust him. Befoer she can say anything Miroku & Sango show up. Meanwhile Naraku's mad that his puppet was broken & now he can't tell what's going on. Then Kikyou shows up & tells him he's getting careless. She reminds him that he has no power over her. She for some reason gives him the stolen shards. They talk about things, mainly how she knows he was Onigumo & how he wants to be a full demon. She leaves & tells him exactly where she can be found. We see him complaining about the spider mark on his back as he thinks about what she said. He wishes he knew what she was up to. We see her leaving & thinking that when he's finally completed getting all the shards she's going to send him to hell. Then the scene shifts to an old man riding on the back of a 3 eyed cow. He's talking about Inuyasha with Myouga.

This scroll starts out with Jaken looking for someone named Toutou-sai. He's finallyfinds the palce he's looking for only to see a sign there saying Toutou-sai has moved! Jaken goes home to tell Sesshy this. Jaken is worried Sesshy will do something bad as Sesshy's a wee bit on the ticked off side. He gets kicked for his troubles. Meanwhile Inu is hapy ebveryone is safe & Kagome still feels bad Kikyou took the shards & everyone's like Inu is just being nice about it cuz it was Kikyou who took them! Just as a fighht is about to start Toutou-sai shows up! Inu wants to know who hew is but all he'll say is draw your sword. Inu can't believe the old geeezer knows him & he finally draws it when Toutou-sai attacks him. Everyone's shocked that Toutou-sai can easily force the Tetsusaiga back! After a bit of nonsense Myouga stops it & everyone learns the history of the blade from the man whoi forged it. & it turns out he's only here to see if Inuyasha is worthy of such a fine blade. If not he's going to break it & by the way someone is after me! He wants Inu to protect from someone. Inu starts a fight with Toutou-sai only to be told by him the person after hoim is here. It's Seshy!!! (who makes a grand entrance riding on the back of his dragon!) Miroku tells Sango who the new guy is. Anywyas Toutou-sai starts a fight by promising Sesshy he'll forge him a new blade if he defeats Inuyasha! So Sesshy's liek you heard the man, die Inuyasha! Inu's like you'er going to be the one dead! & Toutopu-sai wonderrs why they can't get along!

The brothers battle until Toutou-sai remembers he gave Sesshy a sword too & It's just as good as Inuyasha's! Inu's shock but Sesshy's pissed! So Toutou-sai is like let's go as Sesshy's getting mad now....So he hits the ground which causes lava to come up & he escapes with the gang. Toutou-sai is upset as he thinks Inu is weak & Sesshy insulted the blade he made him. Meanwhile Jaken asks Sesshy about the blade so Sesshy unsheaths it & cuts him with it. Jaken thinks he's dead! Sesshy expalins what an idiot Jaken is & Tells him the Tensaiga can't cut. Toutou-sai meanwhile has explained the same thing to Inu. & the gang is like no wonder Sesshy wants a new blade as he can't make that work with his cold heart. Meanwhile Sesshy appears to have been ripping some heads off as his hand is covered in blood & he's sitting there contiplating Inu's & Toutou-sai's deaths!

Toutou-sai decides to leave as he can't count on Inu to help him & Inu's like we don't need him anyways...that is until he comes running back now that Sesshy is here. The battle picks up again after Sesshy tells Toutou-sai he can't escape! The brother fight again! Now Sesshy has a dragon's arm to help him & things don't look good for Inu...Sesshy mentions the wind scar & insults Inu again. Poor Inu is getting trashed by Seshy! Toutou-sai then asks Sesshy if he can sense the wind scar. Sesshy's like of course I can. Toutou-sai explains what it is. Poor Inu looks confused.

Poor Inu is like clueless to the wind scar & he's shocked Sesshy can sense it! Toutou-sai says Inu must find it on his own & if he can't then it means he wasn't meant to have the sword. This whole scroll is basically about the battle between the brothers as the others discuss what's going on. Finally Inu rips off Sesshy's dragon arm & he gets blinded by Sesshy's poison for his troubles as well as beat up a bit by Sesshy! Turns out it was just the thing he needed as now he can see the wind scar! It ends with him preparing to use it!
