Scroll one: The Accursed Youth

It starts out with Inuyasha getting shot by Kikyo and then it goes into an introduction of Kagome and her family. It shows how she was pulled down the Bone Eater's Well, by the centipede demon. When Kagome climbs out of the well she finds herself in Fuedal Japan, although she won't know that for a while! She sees Inuyasha pinned to a tree by an arrow & she plays with his ears! Then she's caught by the villiagers & taken to see Lady Kaede(Lady Kikyo's younger Sister). Lady Kaede tells her about Kikyo & also tells Kagome she looks like her. Then the centipede demon attacks again. Kagome leads it back to Inuyasha's forest where he's woken up.

Scroll two: Inuyasha Resurrected

This is about how Inuyasha is revived and how he helps battle the centipede demon. It's also where Kagome learns she had the Shikon Jewel hidden inside her. After the demon was defeated Inuyasha wants the jewel for himself.

Scroll three: A New Foe

Inuyasha and Kagome battle over possesion of the jewel. Kaede throws a rosary over his head and Kagome utters the famous subdoing spell: Sit Boy! This is how he's controlled whenever he does anything stupid, like trying to get the jewel or spying on Kagome when she's bathing.Here Kaede tells her more about the jewel & Inuyahsa learns that the little "brat" he remembers is Lady Kaede herself. Also he learns that Kikyo is dead. Kagome & Inuyasha try to reach an understanding & she also wants to go home. There is a crow demon that Inuyasha chases away & in the morning when everyone is up they find Kagome is gone. She went off to try & get home but is captured. Inuyasha goes to save her.

Scroll four: The Dancing Dead

Kagome is captured by bandits & their leader wants the jewel. Inuyahsa arrives in time to save her. Meanwhile while waiting to be saved she threw the jewel away & when the bandit leader is destroyed the crow inside him swallows the jewel. Inuyasha is mad at Kagome for throwing the jewel away and they go off to get it. Kagome finds a bow & arrows & she asks the spirit of Kikyo to help her. She is a useless archer unlike Kikyo!

Scroll five: Kagome's Arrow

The crow demon has now got a child & during the fight to save it and get the jewel back, the demon is detroyed and Kagome saves the child. Then She takes the foot of the demon and ties it to her arrow. This finally destroys the demon but it shattered the jewel. Now they are told by Kaede to work together to recover all the shards. Kagome, however desperately wants to go home.

Scroll six:Yura of the Hair

Here it starts with Kagome bathing in a stream & Kaede waits for her on shore. Inuyasha is also there but he's not paying attention at first. When Kagome finds him looking at her naked she gets mad & it's Sit Boy! Time!!! The two fight after Kaede leaves to help a woman's sick daughter. The girl is posessed. Kagome meanwhile tries to go home & sees some hair arranged like a net. She meets Yura & gets knocked in the well. Meanwhile Inuyahsa battles more posessed villagers. Kaede sends hoim to go get Kagome.

Scroll seven:The Bone-eater's Well

Continuation of the above battle. Kaede is hurt & Inuyasha buries her to hide her. He goes off to get Kagome. Meanwhile Kagome is happy to be home!!!

Scroll eight: The Return Home

Kagome thinks about what happened to her. Then at dinner Inuyasha appears & Wants her to leave with him. Mom also plays with his ears!!! Then they leave & find a ton of hair coming out of the well. They battle it while her family tries to get in to see what's up. They stop the hair & Inuyasha gives her his special coat to wear, made of fur from the fire-rat. then they go down the well, where Yura is waiting for them.
