“Come on wench!” Inuyasha looked over his shoulder and yelled to Kagome. They
were walking through knee high snow and Kagome was way behind him, Inuyasha
could tell she was cold but would not carry her because of his pride.
“Can we please stop?” Kagome yelled ahead to Inuyasha. She was getting colder by
the minute and felt as though she would pass out if they did not stop. All of a
sudden she felt her world spinning and turning black, right before she blacked
out she said the first word that came to her mind.
“Inuyasha….” Then she welcomed the darkness with open arms.
Inuyasha stopped and looked behind him because he thought he heard Kagome call
his name. When he looked behind himself he panicked because she was nowhere in
site. So he sniffed the air for her rare scent. He walked back towards the
direction in which the scent came from, as he reached where the scent was
strongest, he looked down and saw black hair and a yellow backpack. ‘Kagome!
This is all my fault!’ he thought.
He put the backpack on his back and carried Kagome bridal style in his arms and
walked towards the direction where he thought he saw an abandoned hut. He got to
the hut and walked inside as soon as he was inside he put Kagome down on the
ground, dropped her backpack and rummaged through her stuff. He needed a
blanket. Once he felt something soft and thick he pulled it out.
He covered Kagome in the blanket he found and looked at her face, ‘Her lips
aren’t supposed to be that color and she isn’t supposed to be that pale, she
needs to be warmed up,’ he thought.
Inuyasha started a fire with one of those ‘matches’ he found and then sat Kagome
by it. After 10 minutes of waiting, Kagome’s lips didn’t look as blue and she
was slowly gaining her color back to her face. The only problem was that
Inuyasha was getting cold, ‘Wait I’m not supposed to get cold I’m hanyou! Wait,
tonight is the new moon… just my luck!’ Inuyasha thought as a frown showed up on
his face.
“Kagome is really going to ‘sit’ me for this” Inuyasha said as he got under the
only blanket in the whole hut, which happened to be the one Kagome was under,
‘Don’t people think to leave 2 blankets when abandoning a hut?’ He thought right
before he fell asleep.

‘It’s so warm’ Kagome thought as she woke up. She yawned and opened her eyes
which were greeted with silver hair, ‘silver!?’ She thought. ‘Wait a minute my
pillow isn’t silver! INUYASHA?’ “SIT!” she yelled. So that morning Inuyasha had
a lot of stuff to tell Kagome what happened while she was out.
