Title: Inuyasha and Kouga’s "Night Together" ^_^

"Inuyasha," said Sango, "it’s getting kind of cold, and we’ve been walking for awhile now…do you think that we cold stop for the night soon?"
‘Feh, humans are so weak’ Inuyasha thought to himself, but kept walking and ignored Sango’s request.
They kept walking and after a few more hours they saw someone’s fire up ahead. "Hey! That’s Kouga-kun!" explaimed Kagome in recognition. "Inuyasha, do you think we could spend the night with him? Kouga and his pack of wolves look like they have enough food that they could share with us, our supply is running low."
"Feh. I am NOT spending the night with Kouga," he snorted.
"Fine. Then the rest of us will," declared Kagome. Miroku, Sango, Shippou, and Kirara quickly agreed. It was getting colder with each step they took and at the mention of food, they were growing hungry.
Inuyasha just ‘feh’ed and as they walked nearer the clearing Kouga and his pack were camped, Inuyasha just ! leapt away to spend the night in some nearby trees.

Kouga heard someone approaching and looked up. Seeing Kagome he smiled and jumped to his feet. "Ah, Kagome! You finally decided to be with me instead of that stupid dogface!" he said cheerily as he grabbed her hand.
"Eh …n …no," she stammered pulling her hand away, "actually we were just wondering if we could stay here for the night and if you happened to have any extra food to spare?"
"Ah, that’s just as well, come on and eat," Kouga answered.

As they ate a certain hanyou was watching them from a tree and was muttering to himself. "That stupid wench. Psh … ‘Inuyasha, do you think we could spend the night with him? Kouga and his pack of wolves look like they have enough food that they could share with us, our supply is running low.’" He mumbled in a poor imitation of Kagome.

** back at Kouga’s campsite **

" Thanks for sharing all this food," mumbled Miroku through a mouthful of wild boar, "it’s really great!"
"Yeah," agreed Sango, "and it’s so warm here!" Kagome forced a smile, but thought to herself, ‘Yeah but I wonder where Inuyasha is. I’m worried about him. Ah, stop being such a worry bug, he is half-demon after all. I’m sure he can take care of himself… but still… "Hey Kouga, can you do me a favor?" she asked.
"Yes. Anything you wish, my love."
"Um. Right. Can you go look for Inuyasha? I… I’m starting to worry," she said timidly.
"You’re worried about that dogturd?"
"Well, ya. A little."
"If it’s what you really want… I guess I can do it for you," he said, not being able to resist the puppy dog eyes she gave him. He sniffed the air to catch Inuyasha’s scent and then started off towards that direction…

** back to Inuyasha in his tree **

As Inuyasha sat there muttering things about Kagome, his sensitive nose caught the scent of something coming nearer that he really hated. ‘What the heck is that dumb wolf coming here for?’ he thought to himself and jumped down out of his tree to see for himself.
He followed Kouga’s scent until he saw him laying up ahead in a bed of flowers. ‘What the heck is that stupid wolf doing now?’ he wondered. But as he drew nearer he started to feel drowsy. The smell of the flowers made him feel sleepy and he was in a dreamy state. ‘Mmm, these flowers smell good,’ he muttered as he collapsed in a deep sleep next to Kouga.

** back with Kagome and co. **

‘What is taking them so long?’ Kagome thought to herself, ‘ I hope they didn’t start fighting again. That was a stupid idea to send Kouga to get hin. I guess I should make sure that they’re all right.’ "I’m going to go check on Kouga and Inuyasha," she announced to everyone else, "it shouldn’t take this long to get back." And with that she picked up her yellow pack and headed in the direction that Kouga took.

After a while of walking she noticed two lumps surrounded by flowers in front of her. ‘I wonder what those are…’ and as she drew nearer she noticed that it was Inuyasha and Kouga sleeping side by side. ‘Why in the world are they sleeping together?!’ she thought trying to suppress a giggle at the sound of those words. Since she wasn’t part demon, Kagome’s nose did not pick up the scent that the flowers as well as the demon and half-demon had and so did not really feel sleepy. Kagome pulled out a blanket from her pack and wrapped it around her two friends and stepped back looking at what a strange picture they made.
Kouga turned in his sleep to face Inuyasha’s back and wrapped his arm around him. After a while Inuyasha also flipped over to face Kouga, wrapped his arm around him as well and cuddled in closer to him. "Mmm, so warm," mumbled Kouga. It was all Kagome could do to not to burst out laughing at the sight of the two enemies laying there huggin! g in their sleep. She would have stayed a while longer to see what else might happen in while they slept, but the flowers’ smell started taking effect on her so she departed feeling a little sleepy herself. When she walked back to where she left her friends she found them already asleep and snoring so she pulled out another blanket, wrapped herself up, and went quickly to sleep.

** Inuyasha and Kouga **

Inuyasha and Kouga were both dreaming about Kagome and how much they loved her. So in their sleep they did some pretty… interesting things to each other (I’ll let you think up your own stuff ^_~) without realizing that they were playing out their dreams (those sick boys ^_^)

At sunrise, Inuyasha woke with a start. ‘Why am I on the ground and why am I so warm and why…’ he didn’t finish his thought. He just noticed Kouga hugging him and that he was hugging him back. "WHY THE HECK ARE YOU HUGGING ME YOU STUPID WOLF!!!!"
"Huh?" said Kouga groggily, "what are you complaining about now, dogturd," he muttered. ‘Wait what’s dogturd doing here anyway…’ he didn’t finish his thought either. "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING HERE DUMB DOG!!!!"
"YOU WERE HUGGING ME IN YOUR SLEEP!"
"WHY WOULD I WANNA HUG YOU DOGFACE?"
"I DON’T KNOW! FOR YOUR OWN PERVERTED REASONS I GUESS!" both of them were now standing, breathing rather hard from all the yelling and excitement, and they were blushing so hard that they were as read as Inuyasha’s clothes.
"Okay. Let’s think of this calmly, and figure out some way to get through it," suggested Kouga.
"Fine. How’s about we forget it ever happened. I mean it’s not like anyone saw us right? So n! o one will ever know," said Inuyasha.
"Agreed."

They walked back to camp and as they got near they heard laughter. ‘I wonder what’s so funny’ they both thought, but shrugged it off and continued on.
When they finally arrived, they managed to hear the end of Kagome’s detailed story of what she saw last night and they both turned a deep shade of red. Everyone looked up at hearing their arrival and upon seeing who it was, burst out laughing even harder than the first time.
"We’re never gunna live this down," muttered Kouga.
"No, you’re not!" teased Shippou, "so… you guys really love each other and not Kagome, huh?"
"Why you little…" and off Shippou ran with Inuyasha and Kouga closely at his heels.
