Starts out with scenes of Sesshy, Rin & Jaken walking through the forest. They are looking for a friend of Chichi-ue's. It's a talking tree & he knew Sesshy would be there to learn about their swords. Then it shifts to a scene of Sango looking after Miroku (goes into flashbacks). He's been poisoned again & she feels bad about it. It ends with him grabbing her butt & she whacks him on the head! Shippo comes in on the end of it. Meanwhile Sesshy's still is talking to the tree. The sheaths of their swords came from the tree. Sesshy gets him to tell him about Inuyasha. He tells the tree Inu's blood is changed. The tree tells him Inu needs the Tetsusaiga to keep his demon blood at bay. IF not he will turn into a fighting machine & he'll die if he gets into a situation where his life is in danger cuz the demon blood takes over & it's too strong for him. The demon blood will cause him to be unable to tell friend or foe. The tree tells Sesshy Inu was given the sword to protect him. Sesshy is like if he loses the sword he's doomed. Then we see Inu & Kagome talking. They seem to after a while act like they are starting to fall in love with each other. He looks after her arm, which turns into an interrupted fight. Sango tells them thank you for staying with her. Inu is puzzled by this. Anyway they move on & a child comes after them for help. Inu rushes in to save the grandpa. Turns out the old man only fell. Anyway Inu carries the old man back to his village. Poor Inu isn't happy. Anyway they leave them behind & continue on their way. The kid calls Inu MR. Dogman & gives him an old snakeskin which Shippo wants so he gives it to him. Then Inu smells human blood & they notice smoke in the direction of the village they just left. They find the child has been shot with an arrow. The guys go off to investigate. Turns out the village is being looted & destroyed. The men are killed & the women are rounded up. Miroku & Inu look for the leader. Inu smells a demon. The demon Gatenmaru looks even more girly than Naraku & Sesshy combined! Anyway he calls Inu a little man & demands he hand over the Tetsusaiga. A battle starts & it seems to go Inu's way. Then the demon spits poison on Inu. More battling & Inu & Miroku wind up covered in a silken cocoon. The Tetsusaiga was dropped & it's outside. The demon like Sesshy can't touch the sword. Anyway the cocoon is poisonous &5they're going to die. Miroku meanwhile has managed to create a barrier to protect themselves. Inu is paralyzed from the poison. Things don't look good. Meanwhile the gang goes to see what's taken the guys so long. It ends with Inu's eye glowing red off & on.
